Summarise features gained by DIY firmware upgrades ?

I would find it useful if there were a summary of the features gained by performing a DIY firmware upgrade against the firmware release numbers.

For example, "My Stations" in a standard IR-100 Firmware release only allows access to the primary live stream. I would find it useful if a DIY upgrade would give the choice of "live" or "On Demand", and hence into the long list of "On Demand" programmes one would normally reach via Location-Continent-Country-Station.
